Sebastien Cochraine is the commanding officer of Fer-De-Lance Galaxy, along with Steel Coil Command Cluster. An unassuming man, he is not known for taking initiative in most cases but is reliable in his actions and steadfast in his resolve. While a capable commander, some have doubt he will “lead the Vipers to victory” with his relaxed demeanor.

Career

Sebastien Steel Viper graduated from his sibko as a MechWarrior, nothing truly destining him for command. It was through simply behaving appropriately, completing all assignments given to him and not causing waves that he was promoted whenever required. By 3127, he was already a Star Captain assigned as an aide-de-camp to Khan Sunny Moffat, given his Bloodname after a simple challenge.

Sebastien Cochraine was there when the former Khan was vented into the void by a freak accident at one of the orbital shipyards. He attempted to rescue the Khan but failed, still closing the breach in the hull using harjel spray and saving the rest of the officers gathered there. He was promoted to Galaxy Commander for his actions (after a simple trial of position) by the new Khan, Hartford Zalman.

Recent history

Sebastien Cochraine knew he would have to deploy his Galaxy to the Marian front. While not motivated to take action, he prepared his forces and drilled them against “mock troops” simulating standard Inner Sphere units. He let Gamma Galaxy and SaKhan Olezko participate in the first wave of the strikes against the Inner Sphere. He used the data gathered from the Khan and the saKhan to prepare his forces more for the upcoming fight.
