Delta Galaxy, or Fer-De-Lance Galaxy, was an original Clan Steel Viper military command which was destroyed during the Wars of Reaving. Survivors from this unit fled with the rest of the Clan to join with the Wolverine Union. It took until the early 32nd century for the Galaxy to be reformed as a front-line unit. Like many, it concentrated on bioroid units to allow for more units to be deployed with less manpower being used.

The reformed Delta Galaxy concentrated in Battle Armor and BattleMech forces, with their lighter, faster units bringing armored infantry to keep locations to capture or cripple enemy commands. It was theorized that a MechWarrior could command a unit of bioroid Battle Armor on his own rather than other ‘Mechs, but this never worked well for Fer-De-Lance Galaxy. Their MechWarrior and Elementals are still trained as binomes, with each “Nova Point” being viewed as a single unit.
