Early Life
Natasha was decanted in a mixed sibko composed of some of the best potential warriors for Clan Wolf. Even early in her training, she was generally regarded as a step above a lot of the other cadets in terms of skills. However, it was her attitude and her disregard for established norms which set her aside from the other cadets the most, embracing very early on a far more “liberal” lifestyle compared to other warriors. She was good friend with Cyrilla Ward, who was seen as the more traditional of the two.
Natasha completed her Trial of Position with three kills, more than anyone expected in that day and age. She was natural at piloting a BattleMech and made multiple enemies in and out of her Clan, culminating in a Trial of Grievance against her by Nova Cat Star Colonel Damon Poiltas. After her victory, she was awarded a chance at claiming a Bloodname, which she did at the age of merely 21.
Career Before the Wolves
With a good position and a strong Bloodname, Natasha Kerensky could have picked any unit to lead, but she decided to take control of a unit of mixed freeborn and washed out trueborn which she rebuilt from the ground up as part of the 328th Assault Cluster. In that time, she achieved multiple “grandstanding” victories, including against Clan Diamond Shark on Paxon, for control of a minor production facility, and then Clan Jade Falcon on Eden, in a grievance against their old enemy. She grew attached to her men and women, especially Jaime Wolf and his brother Joshua, showing her egalitarian view between trueborn and freeborn.
Unfortunately, her skills led to her unit being bidded out in most assignments after her promotion to Star Colonel. This allowed most commanders to show up with a strong unit and remove them from the bid to allow for better concessions from the opponent in the bidding process. This frustrated Natasha Kerensky incredibly, as she was still trying to find the best fights to prove her mettle and her ideology. As the opportunities dried up, she realized that joining the long-term intelligence mission the Wolf brothers would lead would be the best choice for her.

Second Time with the Wolves

Operation REVIVAL
Khan of the Wolves
The Wolf and Wolf Slayers
Brigadier-General Mackenzie Vickers (originally Wolf) had set himself up within the New Rasalhague Republic 3062 for Operation AEGIR, trying to reclaim a few worlds for the Republic. Vickers setup Zeta Battalion of the Wolf’s Dragoon as a unit he called “The Wolf Slayers”, specialized in headhunting Clan Wolf and Ghost Bear commanders. When Natasha Kerensky heard about this, she moved her own Alpha Galaxy and Sigma Galaxy to stop the Wolf’s Dragoons. Her fight put her in direct conflict with many men and women she had trained in the past or that were trained based on her own material, and she believed at first she could reason with Mackenzie Vickers and have the Dragoons rejoin Clan Wolf to help bolster the weakening Warden faction.
Jaime Wolf son’s refusal to even consider the idea shocked the old Khan of the Wolf, who fought against the Dragoons and their Rasalhague allies on multiple worlds. By 3064, the Dragoons had deployed the Wolf Slayers and most of Alpha regiment to Carse, where Natasha met directly with her Dragoon counterpart. Brigadier Vickers took command of the Wolf’s Slayers directly and challenged Kerensky to a fight in the ruins of an ancient factory and refinery complex. While Kerensky managed to destroy Vicker’s Marauder IIC, she lost her Dire Wolf and had to swap with a Warhammer IIC from Sigma Galaxy to continue the fight.
Meeting with Vickers again three days later, her escort was taken down by concentrated fire from the remaining Zeta Battalion soldiers under Vickers orders. Vickers challenged Kerensky to a one-on-one duel after this happened, promising to let her troops leave the planet if he won, only if she promised the same if she won. Vickers was now piloting Marauder II, which had been equipped with one of the new Heavy Gauss Rifle developed by the Lyran Alliance. The fight put the two pilots to their limits, but it came down to a few clean shots from Vickers disabling key components on Natasha’s Warhammer IIC leading to the machine collapsing under its own weight. Kerensky died from the impact.
Personal Life
Natasha Kerensky was never a truly “exemplary” Clan warrior, but her talent was undeniable from her youth leading to a lot of her actions later in life. A lot of her problems with Clan authority came from the distinction between Trueborn and Freeborn, which she refused outright. Joining the Wolf’s Dragoons early in their mission in the sphere, Natasha easily slipped into the native crowd by taking “unclanlike behavior” like using abbreviations, swearing and carousing.
Her relationship with Joshua Wolf is the only known real “emotional” attachment Natasha Kerensky had, and many believe she never recovered from it. A lot of Kerensky’s actions after the death of Joshua seem to have been tinted by her memory of him and the betrayal of their former employer. Even after her return to Clan Wolf, she was known to take very poorly to people trying to go behind her back or arrange things without her knowledge. Due to her incredible talent and long-lasting legacy, her genes are in high demand amongst the Clans and multiple sibkos have already been planned using her genetic makeup.
Natasha Kerensky’s BattleMech
At the start of her career, Natasha Kerensky piloted a Timber Wolf, preferring configurations featuring ER PPCs. As she left to join the Wolf’s Dragoons, she transferred to a Marauder, which was later stolen by the Bounty Hunter. She was then closely associated with a Warhammer nicknamed “Black Lady” which she had rebuilt from scraps and parts. The machine was left with Zeta Battalion when Kerensky left to rejoin Clan Wolf.
As part of Clan Wolf, she first claimed a new Timber Wolf that used to belong to Vlad Wolf (Ward). This was a temporary choice, as Natasha later claimed a Dire Wolf which she used a personal configuration for, nicknamed Widowmaker. The ‘Mech having been severely damaged in the fight against Mackenzie Vickers Wolf Slayers on Carse, she piloted a Warhammer IIC during her final fight against Brigadier-General Vickers.
