Warlock Restored Battleworx is a manufacturer in the restored St.Ives Compact. It was financed in part by Duke Alexander Hasek and Robinson Standard Battleworks. Using the broken shell of the Ceres Metal Industries factory on Warlock, this conglomerate of investor rebuilt a new BattleMech factory to supply both the Federated Suns and St.Ives Compact. In secret, the factory also builds equipment for local Wolverine Union assets for Duke Alexander Hasek.

Founding

After the separation of St.Ives from the Capellan Confederation during the Capellan-Star League War, Ceres was embroiled in the Jaded Mandarin controversy. They attempted to raise capital to remain solvent and pay for their legal issues. To do so, they sold a few of their assets, especially “low value” ones. The destroyed factory on Warlock was one such asset which was scooped up by a group of local business moguls. Their hope was to auction it to the highest bidder. The location itself had already been Radscrubbed and was “habitable”, and they expected to attract real estate investors to build new hab blocks.

They were surprised when Robinson Standard Battleworks and Duke Hasek made a rather massive offer on the land and “whatever they could salvage from it”, close to 20% more than any other investor was ready to put down. In a matter of a few months, the ruined factories had already taken a more “habitual” look, with prefabricated modules and equipment being shipped from Robinson, MacIntosh, New Syrtis and Kahtil. While the facility and its computers had been destroyed, most of the underground production lines, armor and equipment mills were still mostly functional after minor repairs. Rumors of Ceres having just used the destruction of the factory as an insurance scam increased after this was discovered by the general public.

Production

After 18 months, new BattleMechs and OmniMechs started walking off the assembly lines. While the production numbers were low, the factory was still being upgraded and repaired and was expected to be fully operational by around 3157. A Battle Armor production annex was planned as well, replacing one of the ‘Mech production line which was not reactivated by the conglomerate
