Syrtis Fusiliers Army List

Basic Rules
The Syris Fusiliers have access to 3 types of detachment: Line, Militia and Assault. The pilot level and skills depend on the specific unit, but commander are generally Veterans. Common SPA for Syrtis Fusiliers Veteran pilots are Blood Stalker, Headhunter and Weapon Specialist (Any Autocannon). Elite pilots generally have the Sharpshooter, Sniper or Sandblaster (LB-X) SPA.
Militia detachments are built around Light and Medium ‘Mechs, which are Core units to them. Heavy ‘Mechs are considered Special units, while Assault ‘Mechs are considered Rare units. If a unit is not available due to modifiers, they are not normally available to a Militia detachment. Militia detachment generally also have “older” units available to them, from Civil War and earlier. Any unit from a later period is always 1 rarity rarer than usual. Militia detachment generally have a support unit of armour and VTOL.
Line detachments are built around Medium and Heavy ‘Mechs, which are core units to them. Light ‘Mechs and Assault ‘Mechs are considered Special units for them. Line detachments are your standard combat units, and have support units like ASF available to them on a common basis. Line detachment generally have access to modern equipment, and any unit from before the Clan Invasion era is 1 rarity rarer.
Assault detachments are built around Heavy and Assault ‘Mechs, which are core units to them. Medium ‘Mechs are considered Special units, while Light ‘Mechs are considered Rare units. If a unit is not available due to modifiers, it is not normally available to an Assault detachment. Assault detachments are generally rare, and you should never have more Assault detachments than Line detachment or Militia detachments.

Aerospace Fighters
Line detachment generally have ASF support, while Militia and Assault detachment generally do not.
Battle Armor
The Syrtis Fusiliers have moved away from conventional infantry for the most part, except in Militia detachments. Any OmniMech can carry Battle Armors as a support unit as a Core upgrade. Assault detachments will use Battle Armors to secure objectives using transport for them or Omnimechs to bring them to the objective.

Conventional Armor
Conventional armor is extensively common in most Light Combat Teams. Militia units generally have a strong core of conventional armor, while Line regiments have a heavier group of hovercraft cavalry units. Assault units generally are supported by heavy and assault tanks, along with artillery.
