Quikscell Assellus is a subsidiary of the Quikscell Corporation – Free Worlds League which established itself within the Clan Protectorate in 3144. Through dealings with Clan Jade Falcon and Clan Sea Fox, they established a production plant for a variety of “Clan-graded” vehicles within the Protectorate, expanding their production capacity while also getting more customers. The original idea was to sell equipment to the Wolf Empire from these facilities, but the Clan Protectorate became their primary customer very quickly.

Unlike many “quickly built” factories, the Quikscell Assellus facilities are a bit more advanced and permanent, both of them having been built off local Shelby-AMG Tuning refit yards. Almost all equipment is sources locally, with only limited input from Clan Sea Fox to allow to fill up their production quotas. With 2 factories, Quikscell Asellus is becoming a major employer in the Protectorate. They have plans to expand, including adding a Speciality Manufacturing plant to produce basic BattleMechs for local customers.

Manufacturing

Asellus Australis and Asellus Borealis

The factories on both Asellus Australis and Borealis have the same production lines, even though they are different on the inside. They both specialise in building Clan vehicles. While most designs are proprietary to Quikscell even though the Falcons would claim otherwise, the SM Tank Destroyer produced here has gotten Luthien Armor Works rather mad. Clan Nova Cat claims the design as theirs, but the patent apparently is with LAW and a legal battle is ongoing about it.
