Irian’s Fury is Irian Technologies Private Security Contractor, built off the remains of the Dragon’s Fury. Like most major corporations, Irian Technologies has been using mercenaries to circumvent the SecurityMech Treaty of 2613. Well supplied and equipped, Irian’s Fury is composed of former Dragon’s Fury members, as well as former members of the Irian Standing Guard and IrTech Security.
Recent History
Having retaken their homeworld from the Republic of the Sphere, Irian saw that their own IrTech Security and Irian Standing Guard was not sufficient. In response, they turned to Katana Tormak’s unit for protection. Irian wanted this to be a long-standing contract with the unit, but the Draconis Combine Civil War led Tormak away from Irian and destroyed the unit. Two companies of combined arms units had remained on Irian as they were resupplying, and became the core of the newly formed unit.
Irian’s Fury served actively during the late 3130s and 3140s, defending Irian from attacks from various parties. The unit gained experience rapidly and is viewed as one of the premiere Private Security Contractor. All of IrTech Security was folded into the Fury, with the various units protecting other facilities now centrally managed.
Katana’s return
Having escaped the destruction of her unit, Katana returned to Irian in 3150. While she wanted to reclaim her unit, Irian made it clear that the Fury was now a fully owned subsidiary of Irian Technologies. Preferring not to raise the ire of a powerful patron, Katana Tormak submitted to the will of the corporation and was appointed as Lieutenant-Colonel of the 2nd regiment. To avoid House Kurita’s ire, her unit was stationed far from the border, at the secondary headquarters on Shiro III.

Irian’s Fury paint scheme
The warriors of Irian’s Fury paint their mech or vehicles a dark orange with grey highlight. The grey stripe runs the length of the torso from head down. For green warriors, it is a narrow strip and as more experience is gained the stripe is increased. The elite warriors have the whole torso painted grey and only the arms and legs are orange.
This scheme was copied off Dragon’s Fury, but changed to match Irian’s Techologies colors.
