Cyrus McCarron

Cyrus McCarron has been resentful of Daoshen Liao and the Capellan state since the murder of his father by the head of the Capellan nation. Serving as second in command of McCarron’s Armored Cavalry under Danai Liao-Centrella, Cyrus tried to seduce the scion of House Liao in order to secure his family’s future at the head of the McCarron, to no avail.

Capellan-Star League War

McCarron’s brigade was ordered by the Chancellor to attack the Wolf Empire at the beginning of the Capellan-Star League war, with each of the regiments of the former mercenary outfit attacking worlds close to the Capellan border and trying to secure enemy supply depots and disrupting reinforcement coming from Gienah. Cyrus McCarron commanded the 2^nd MAC effectively, even against the odds, while Danai Liao got all the credit for their actions. This further increased Cyrus’s hatred for Danai Liao.

When Danai’s 1^st MAC calls for assistance on Castor as her forces are under assault by saKhan Chance Vickers and Galaxy Commander Anastasia Kerensky, Cyrus McCarron refuses to answer her request for support. Danai having been killed by the new Black Widow, the young McCarron reached out to the former Steel Wolf and surrendered the remainder of the Big MAC to the New Star League.

Supporting Liao Jie Xu

Not knowing much what was going to happen to them, Cyrus McCarron was approached by multiple Wolf commanders, and his unit was given to role to protect Liao Jie Xu, formerly known as Jerome St.Jamais. The Big MAC was sent with the Liao’s heir to Sian, where they were welcomed as heroes even after their defection. Cyrus McCarron was given the command of McCarron’s Armored Cavalry as the first decree by the Steward of the Confederation, before being ordered to go to the Andurien border to defend the realm.
