After his graduation from Nagelring, Victor was stationed on Trellwan, which was amongst the first planets struck by Clan Jade Falcon. Captured while letting the remainder of his troops retreat, against the wishes of his aide Galen Cox, Victor was taken as bondsman by Elias Critchell. Seeing the value of the young man, Critchell wanted originally to keep him as a guarantee, but Victor enjoyed the life in the Clan system and apparently wanted to assimilate. After saving Critchell’s life in a fight against the First Somerset Strikers led by his uncle Adam Steiner, Victor was granted a position as a Clan Warrior, where he won his position as Star Commander in a trial of position, piloting a brand new Turkina omnimech.
With Elias Critchell’s defeat at Luthien, Victor’s star is not ascending as much as it was, but leadership led to the defeat of the Kell Hounds and his cousin Phelan Kell, which he leveraged in order to be allowed to get another Trial of Position, in which he took the position of Star Colonel. Along with Kristen Redmond and Nicolai Malthus, Victor is planning a full on invasion of the Lyran portion of the Federated Commonwealth.
