Trina Mitchell was a politician first and a warrior second. Her goals in life were always to climb to the top of Clan Hell’s Horses, with Gottfried Amirault (internal) being in the way of her political career. Having reached command of the Alpha Galaxy, she waited for Gottfried to be removed from power in order to push herself up the ranks once again. Not a major supporter of the Mongol Doctrine, she however was the main proponent for the TankWarrior phenotype experiment. She has used many TankWarriors, like Arianna Mitchell (internal), as pawn in her political game.
Bidding for Yorii
Prior to the Battle of Yorii, Trina Mitchell did all she could to be guaranteed a position in the Trial of Possession. She pulled every political string she could and had her warriors perform well in a few placement trials to show her dedication. Her goal was to be present when either Gottfried Amirault or Fulk Lassenera (internal) died to be able to jump on the occasion to secure a larger leadership position in the Clan.
The Battle Itself
While Beta Galaxy won the opportunity to land first on Yorii, Alpha Galaxy Command quickly established themselves near the town of Sachiko. Trying to force the locals to serve her unit, Trina Mitchell learned that they were not going to participate in either side of the battle. They had the sworn statement from the ilKhan as well that they would remain safe for the duration of the trial. Having wanted to hide her unit in the city to ambush the Wolves, Trina Mitchell started forcefully relocating the locals. The retaliation came in the form of a Pinkerton’s unit from Lloyd’s of New London corporate security, who challenged Trina to a Trial of Possession for the town. A Summoner decorated in flames fought a point of TankWarriors, melting their tanks away with plasma weapon fire.
Out in the open, Trina Mitchell moved her division towards a set of canyons and ravines when she was intercepted by the Wolves Golden Keshik. Repositioning her forces as quickly as she could, she faced an onslaught of highly skilled warriors that had survived the Battle of Terra (on one side or the other). TankWarriors proved once again to not be the best investment the Hell’s Horses made, with their standard armor getting dismantled before Trina Mitchell was killed by a stray SRM hit to her ‘Mech’s cockpit.
