Star Colonel Lamar Wolf

Lamar was commander of the 11^th Wolf Garrison, stationed on Stewart. A freeborn, he originally trained in the Republic of the Sphere. With limited experience in combat and command, he still won the rank of Star Colonel through Trials of Positions. His subordinate had minimal respect for him and lost most of what was left after the debacle on Stewart.

Facing the Irregulars

Lamar did not expect the full strength of the Gavin Stewart (internal)’s coalition as they landed on the world he was tasked to protect. With the actually well trained and armed Wolves on Terra, Lamar was left with third-rate equipment and demotivated troops. Making the best he could from the situation, he did manage to defend the planet in a few locations, but his defeat was inevitable.

Luckily for him, Lamar was relieved by a force of Clan Protectorate troops led by Khan Rikkard Rwabdogo. Alpha Galaxy of the Nova Cats pushed the invaders off world, but Lamar was told, in no uncertain terms, that the world was lost as the general population was rising against them. He evacuated Stewart along with Protectorate forces.

Death and dishonor

In his retreat, Lamar landed on a planet where Star Colonel Ichaerus Ward’s 8^th Glacial Fang was resupplying. Using his status as a bloodnamed warrior, Ward requested the 11^th Garrison provide him with their supplies and successful warriors to replenish his unit. Lamar opposed him immediately, and Ichaerus would have ignored him if not for Lamar insulting Star Colonel Ward’s heritage. In the ensuing Trial of Refusal, Lamar was killed by Ichaerus Ward. The 11^th Garrison was disbanded, the remaining troops joining with the 8^th Glacial Fang in hope of recovering their honor.
