Salvatore Sradac is the Star Colonel in charge of the 9th Wolf Guard Striker from 3143 onwards. A strangely irrational fellow, Sradac carries “lucky charms” with him everywhere he goes, a trait which has imprinted on most of his unit. He has close relationships with the Travelers of the Inner Sphere, and was adopted in a Travelers Clan, The Castaways, during his time fighting the Republic of the Sphere.
Battle of Terra
With his troops already blooded against the Republican troops, Star Colonel Sradac did all her could to keep on the front of the fight against the RAF. He believed that if he were to pull back and not be “on the front line” that bad luck would start plaguing him and the future ilKhan. While this might not have been the case, Salvatore’s knowledge of the Travelers code and rules did allow him to evade some ambushes and recover “lost RAF supplies” on a few occasions.
Defense of the Wolf Empire
Salvatore Sradac’s unit was in better condition than many others after the ilClan trial. As the Wolf Empire begged for help, Sradac arranged transport through his Travelers friends, rescuing stranded units on the Wolf Empire border and bringing them back to Gienah for reassignment. He did meet with then Star Colonel Othar (internal) and praised him on work in keeping the Empire going.
Battle of Yorii
Recalled to Terra to reconvene with his Galaxy, Salvatore Sradac brought his contacts with him to allow for a quicker deployment of the Wolves to Yorii. Early in the fight, the 9th Wolf Guard Striker faced Peter Cobb (internal)’s 1st Horde, with both units taking a beating and the Hell’s Horses ultimately taking the day. Salvatore came back to Alaric Ward in apparent disgrace, but the ilKhan congratulated him on his dedication and reorganized his unit to defend key positions on the planet. In the few other engagements by the 9th Wolf Guard Striker, the Sradac and his men pushed back raiders on a few occasions.
Salvatore Sradac’s BattleMech
At the Battle of Terra, Salvatore Sradac piloted a Savage Wolf, which he lost on the last day of the ilClan trial. Afterwards, he piloted an isorla Warhammer. During the Battle of Yorii, Star Colonel Sradac piloted a Lament IIC.
