Fairgraves Schmitt was born in Union territory, never having witnessed or suffered the action of the Homeworld Clans. He has, however, reviewed all the documents and all video evidence of their actions since his youth, and his main “hobby” is doing historical compilation of war crimes performed by all factions within the Inner Sphere and Clan space. His religious belief falls in line with the new religion of the Blood Spirits, which he has acted as a spokesperson before.
Early Life
Fairgraves Blood Spirit graduated from his sibko a Star Commander, and was praised by the trainers as he had his opponents surrender during his Blooding rather than destroying them. Fairgraves joined the ilChi program, serving as a missionary with Clan Steel Viper and The Burrocks. With the Burrocks, he served on a raid against the Lyran Commonwealth, where he gained some well needed combat experience.
After his stint as a missionary, Fairgraves won his bloodname and the rank of Star Colonel. His historical records and compilation videos were getting wildly popular amongst the Blood Spirit population, and the rights to them were purchased by a few other Union members to be used as valuable propaganda.
Ascension
Fairgraves Schmitt’s popularity propelled him to the top of his Clan after Viggo McFadden retired in 3123. As new High Magister, he codified more of the religious beliefs created by McFadden and compiled and wrote part of the Spirit Red Bible, which became standard reading within the Union. Funds which were originally earmarked for military spending were funneled into genetic engineering of animals and plants to help the Union better survive the White Light event under his leadership.
As the Union was readying for strikes against the Inner Sphere, Fairgraves had the leaders of the bloodhouses pledge their support to new “front-line” Galaxies which would be used in a crusade against the Raven Alliance, even though the real objective of Schmitt was to bring the Draconis Combine to justice.
