Danielle Cobb has been Star Colonel of the 22^nd Mechanized Assault since 3142. She is a supporter of the TankWarrior project and her Galaxy Commander Trina Mitchell (internal)’s political aspirations. She distanced herself from the Mongol Doctrine early on in its existence. Unfortunately for her, her politics likely led to her death.

Republic of the Barrens operation

Star Colonel Cobb was dispatched to Gustrell in response to pirate strikes. There she duelled a black and red Marauder piloted by Abdoun Ricol (internal). The operation should have been the first hint that a more conventional armor formation would not be functional on more mobile assaults often required by modern, ‘Mech-equipped militaries.

Battle of Yorii

Danielle Cobb was quick to bid for an early deployment in the engagement against Clan Wolf on Yorii. While many of the fights in this campaign were large-scale, Cluster vs Cluster events, Danielle Cobb was stuck in an engagement against Kalidessa Kerensky (internal) ‘s 2^nd Wolf Assault Cluster. Danielle Cobb kept trying to push for a more definitive engagement, but even the slower 2^nd Assault was able to evade her, leading to smaller strikes against some of the 22^nd armor trinaries. When the 2^nd Assault was finally cornered between a city and a dense jungle, the 22^nd attack only led to minor damage as most of their support units, which they relied on for heavy firepower, had already been taken out. Danielle Cobb died in that fight, protecting TankWarrior Arianna Mitchell (internal)’s Eurus battle tank.
