Bradford Vickers, at the Gathering of Gienah

Bradford Vickers was commander of Clan Wolf’s Mu Galaxy during the Battle of Terra. He was named to this position by Khan Seth Ward as a mean to position the bloodnamed warrior somewhere where he would deal the least amount of damage. While not incompetent, Galaxy Commander Vickers was seen as “lazy” by most, preferring to simply coast in life while waiting for either a glorious death or simple retirement.

Battle of Terra

Alaric Ward recalled all bloodnamed warriors and the best of the Wolves for the Battle of Terra, which led Bradford Vickers to gather most of his Yellow Keshik and “the best” of Mu Galaxy to go to Terra. Vickers served primarily in defensive roles throughout the invasion, preventing Republic of the Sphere and other thieves from hitting the critical stockpile of equipment and war materiel. During the actual ilClan trial, Bradford Vickers served competently, winning his bloodribbon.

War for the Wolf Empire

With a good portion of Mu Galaxy having been left behind in the Wolf Empire in garrison positions, Bradford Vickers was sent back to Mundrabilla as soon as it was feasible for him to do so. He landed just in time to face the 7th Tamarind Regulars assault on the planet. With the remnants of his Yellow Keshik and the 66th Wolf Garrison, Vickers did what he could to protect the planet, but was pushed off world, retreating to Zortman to regroup and rearm.

Gathering on Gienah

As with most Clan Wolf warriors, Bradford Vickers was at Gienah during the Gathering. There, he had to preside over multiple Vickers bloodhouse Trials of Bloodright. Unfortunately for him, however, Star Colonel Warren also gained a bloodname at the Gathering, which he used to immediately challenge Galaxy Commander Vickers for command of Mu Galaxy. Accepting his defeat, Bradford however remained in command of Yellow Keshik as Star Colonel.

During Warren Sims restructuring of Mu Galaxy, Bradford Vickers followed the rest of his men best he could despite his age. No special dispensations were given to the “geriatric” as the Clans would call him. While he held Yellow Keshik back a few times, his command expertise was still called upon.
