Billie Sender

Billie Sender, oddly a nickname for his real name of William, is the commander of Clan Wolf’s Delta Galaxy during the Battle of Terra and the Capellan – Star League War. A young and hungry commander, Billie Sender participated in every single Trial and opportunities for him to advance in the ranks of his Clan. While his overall experience was seen as lacking even though he was in a good position, he was tasked with garrison duty along the Lyran border, on Smolnik. There he gained experience in countering raids and piracy, but also in political affairs, learning to deal with “freebirth merchants and laborers”.

During the Battle of Terra, Delta Galaxy was fully mobilized and supported Alaric Ward’s (internal) claim to the title of ilKhan of the ilClan. Like most Galaxies, Delta took massive losses in the conflict, leaving them with only about 20% operational strength at the end of the conflict.

Fight for the Wolf Empire

With his forces severely understrength, Billie Sender was unable to mobilize his troops at the start of the battle against Wolf’s Dragoons and the Lyran Commonwealth in the Wolf Empire. His Galaxy was also not viewed as a “priority” by saKhan Chance Vickers (internal), which left him on the sidelines. Following what would be used as well by other Galaxies and then Star Colonel Othar (internal), Galaxy Commander Billie Sender began doing retrials for members of his Galaxy that had tested out of being warriors, as well as opening up recruitment to former Republic of the Sphere soldiers and mercenaries stuck on Terra. Billie Sender also got in contact with a few corporations and organizations to procure new machines for his troops, leading Delta Galaxy to have a significant number of IIC and “Clan variant” machines.

Smolnik having fallen to the Lyran invaders, Billie Sender took the 50% strength or so Delta Galaxy to fight against the invaders. His attempt to retake “their world” failed as Roderick Steiner (internal)’s forces were too well organized and equipped for Galaxy Commander Sender. Delta Galaxy still had a good showing defending other worlds and prevented more losses for the Wolf Empire.

Capellan – Star League War

Delta Galaxy’s actions in the defense of the Wolf Empire increased their rearming priority and were at full capacity by the start of the Capellan – Star League War. Originally remaining as a garrison unit on the Lyran border, as the Battle of Sirius became the focal point of the war, Billie Sender and his men were mobilized. Even with rotations of troops, Delta Galaxy was on the frontlines in one way or another on Sirius until the end of the war.

Billie Sender would fight on the front for most of the war, with only minimal injuries compared to many of his men. This was likely more due to luck than anything, as the eager warrior usually led his troops directly. His biggest success was the capture of House Hiritsu’s commanding officer, Xun Kuang, which he claimed as bondsman.
