Andrea Chapman

Andrea Chapman is the commander of the 1^st Federated Suns Armored Cavalry, a unit specializing in speedy assaults and raids. Chapman is fiercely loyal to the Federated Suns, but sees Erik Sandoval (internal) as a better potential leader than Julian Davion (internal). She also has a soft spot for fine cuisine, which she can’t always have while on the field, leading General Chapman to invest in a larger mess hall bill than most commanders.

Operation CELESTIAL REWARD

During the CCAF’s Operation CELESTIAL REWARD, Andrea Chapman faced the reborn 3^rd Sian Dragoons and 1^st Tikonov Guards on Almach. While specialized in fast strikes, Chapman managed to establish a mobile defense against the invaders. She managed to keep them occupied long enough to prevent them from striking other targets. After losing Almach in a second invasion wave, the 1^st Armored retreated to Tawas, where they spent the next few years rebuilding and retraining.

Davion Reconquista

While rebuilding, Andrea Chapman drilled her unit against the Third Crucis Lancers. Serving as aggressors in training exercises, she raised the green Third Crucis under Major General Julien Emerson-Green (internal) to fully operational status. When the call to arms to retake lost worlds in the Dragon’s Tongue, both the 3^rd Crucis and the 1^st Armored jumped on the occasion to prove their worth. In deployment, the Crucis lancers served as the anvil to Andrea Chapman’s hammer, using decisive strikes to trap and destroy DCMS forces. During these operations, Chapman also found her faith again and started supporting the New Avalon Catholic Church directly.

Once the troubles on the Combine front ended, the 1^st Avalon Armored Cavalry and Chapman returned to the Capellan March, where they planned and executed a number of strikes against key Capellan assets, inadvertently assisting Clan Wolf in their war.
