Adut Bragg is the first “modern trueborn” Vanguard of the exiled Clan Ice Hellion. While the original Vanguards were normal humans, Adut is truly a tubeborn child as designed by the Hellion’s Scientist caste. From his youth, he was trained to be the best of the best of his Clan. He has always been obsessed with the destruction of the “corrupted Hellions” since he was decanted.

Early life

Adut Ice Hellion was trained in a specialized “command” sibko after he did his first testing. As with most new vatborns, he grew up extremely quickly and by the time he was 15, he was ready for his Blooding. During his race, he killed two other pilots which were trying to pass him, allowing him to win the race. By the time he was 19, Adut managed to participate in 2 separate Trials of Bloodright, losing the first one to a more experienced warrior, but surviving it. Winning the second trial, Adut Bragg kept growing his power base at that time.

Road to being Vanguard

Quickly, Adut Bragg began challenging for advances in his rank. After a quick tour with the Burrocks where he learned more about the Inner Sphere and the Escorpion Imperio, he gained the rank of Star Colonel. From there, his meteoric rise stopped for a few years, until successfully challenged for the position of Galaxy Commander in a brand new Galaxy of bioroid units that was raised for the upcoming strikes against the Inner Sphere in 3146. Finally, Vanguard Romak Mezgebu died of a heart attack and his rather than accept the ascension of his “imperfect” Viceguard, the Hellions rallied behind Adut Bragg.

Readying for war

When the Wall fell, the Wolverines started calling for the various members of the Union to commit forces to probing strikes against their age-old enemy. Foxtrot Whitfield of the Wolverines was surprised that the Ice Hellion committed the entirety of their touman to strikes, and potential destruction, of the former Hanseatic League and their Goliath Scorpion overlords. While their force are still mostly untested, Adut Bragg is ready to sacrifice everything to destroy their hated enemy.
