Reformation

Victory Over Delusion (Nova Cat Alpha Galaxy) was the original lead formation in Clan Nova Cat and was the first one to be brought back by the new Khan, Rikkard Rwabdogo. Alpha Galaxy benefited heavily from Clan Sea Fox’s involvement in the defense of the Wolf Empire. Warriors that originally did not have BattleMechs assigned to them received new machines and reformed units previously dismantled. Other units within the Protectorate were converted to members of the Alpha Galaxy.

From the Protectorate forces, Purifier and Omicron Cluster were reformed into the 1^st Nova Cat Guards and 1^st Spirit Cat Guards. Shiva Keshik became the command unit of Tau Galaxy while Rikkard Rwabdogo recreated the legendary Vision Keshik with new warriors. The First and Second Protectorate Guardians were split between the two new Galaxies. A unit of sappers, heavy infantry and support vehicles formed the Nova Cat Grenadiers as a provisional Cluster.

Rapid Deployment

Alpha Galaxy was immediately activated by Khan Rwabdogo to defend the Wolf Empire against the Silver Hawk Irregulars (internal). While Alpha broke the Irregulars on Stewart, they urged the Clan leadership on the planet to retreat. While some in the Empire viewed this as dishonorable, Star Colonel Othar (internal) accepted Rwabdoggo’s word that the situation on the planet would have been untenable. Alpha Galaxy refused to fight the Free Worlds League and affiliated forces for the rest of the campaign. On the other hand, they chased the remnants of the Wolf’s Dragoons with the help of Ichaerus Ward, while also assisting with the defense of multiple worlds against Roderick Steiner (internal)’s LCAF.

Capellan – Star League War

During the Capellan conflict, Alpha Galaxy rebuilt and upgraded their forces in the Protectorate territory. While no major engagement occurred, a few units were involved in skirmishes against Liao raiders and “sponsored pirates”.
