The Hero Training Institute is better known for its low quality of education and “minimum level requirements” they give their soldiers. Thankfully, the campus on Cap Rouge was rescued by the Humphreys Training Academy. While still a part of the Hero network, it is now managed and staffed by high end instructors. Other Hero institute members have been going to this location to learn more about their new program.
Current history
After the seizing of the planet of Cap Rouge, the local faculty tried to leverage their position with the Andurien government. Commander-in-Chief Yen Ju Simons stopped this immediately, asking for a full audit of the campus. The faculty was investigated, bad elements were removed, and the headmaster removed due to corruption. The Humphreys Training Academy sent a group of administrators and some teachers to revamp their program.
The new program was in full force in 3149. Second line ‘mechs have been assigned to the training corps, along with new aerospace fighters. The first 6 months of the program now mimics the Humphreys program with a rough survival, small arms and physical fitness program. The requirements are, however, lower than at that elite school, so students from all walks of life are invited.
Hero-Humphreys Training Institute Paint scheme
The HHTI is now using a combined paint scheme on their ‘mechs from the two home institutes. Mechs are marked with an Andurien emblem, to remind the faculty of their allegiance.
