The Federated Suns’s own Corean was best known during the Succession War for being one of the last location in the Inner Sphere with fully automated production plants. Hordes of the basic Valkyrie BattleMech were produced to keep the combat capabilities of the AFFS. More modern expansion of their production allowed them to keep up with more advanced technology and construction techniques. While not as diversified as other corporations, Corean’s focus on a smaller number allows them to provide larger production runs with fewer stoppages. To make sure their production remain constant, they purchased a Temiscamingue-class mobile endo-steel mill from their competitor, Achernar BattleMechs.

Recent history

Corean’s biggest problem in the middle of the 32nd century was that their main facilities on New Avalon and Augusta were captured by the Draconis Combine. If not for Lloyd’s of New London, those factories would have passed on to Combine-owned companies, but they were instead left in abeyance until the AFFS retook these worlds. This slowed the equipment production for the AFFS. Corean forced themselves to change up their production to more varied locations.

Unlike Achernar, Corean had not planned on this happening, but they took their endo-steel mill to Novaya Zemlya. There, they expanded the production lines of the Test Annex to build more Centurion, Devastators and bought a license to build the GM Valkyrie. Corean sold the license to produce some of their more proprietary designs to help shore up their finances. They plan to build a new production plant on a planet far from any front-lines by 3155.
