Blacks Raiders have been a torn in the side of the Morrison’s Extractors for most of their existence. But since the mid-3120s, the two units have worked closely to defend the Rim Territories from external threats. The Raiders are also more used to fighting “internal threats” than the Extractors, being used for police action against pirate captains acting out. The Raiders have been under command of the Blacks family since they were first created, but the recent expansion of the unit to include an airwing led them to hire an oddball Dark Caste warrior to lead that new unit.

Recent History

The Raiders having been “ousted from power” by Malax Morrison, people expected them to leave the Territories. Strangely, they were quite happy to remain and start serving House Morrison as their police dogs. Jaysen Blacks had wanted to go legit for quite some time, but as King of the Pirates, this was a hard thing to do.

Of course, turning a century old pirate outfit into a more legitimate force was difficult. Jaysen ended up retiring before he could see this come to pass, but his son Draginu Blacks continues the same work. Investing in improving their force, the Blacks family approached Dark Caste warriors to build their own airwing to compete with the Morrison’s Warship.
