The 1st Viper Guard is the Command Cluster of Clan Steel Viper’s Alpha Galaxy. It also serves as the Khan’s own personal unit when required. The original unit dates from way back to Operation KLONDIKE, and the warriors which are part of it love to remind people that they never were “broken”, even during the War of Reaving.
Fighting for relevancy in a more “peaceful time”, the 1st Viper often drove military drills for other units within Alpha Galaxy, but also within the Clan at large. With the diminution of “combat positions” within the Cluster as bioroids began filling out the ranks, an assignment to the 1st Viper Guard was seen more and more as a distinction as one who embraced the future of the Steel Vipers as members of the Wolverine Union.

1st Viper Guard Tactics
The Viper’s Fury employs many bioroid units, limiting the exposure of their commanders to enemy fire. The 1st still prefers to perform headhunting missions, similar to when they were participating in Operation REVIVAL.
