Flint’s background

Flint is what happens when Cobra happens. Dashiell Faireborn comes from a noble family of Kyrkbacken, was sent to the best schools on the planet before beng sent to Princefield Military Academy, where he graduated with disctinction from the Mechwarrior and literature program, on a fast track to a good paying position in the Marik Guard with little to worry about. But then, he crossed paths with GI Joe and Cobra, and it changed his life. With his unit stationned on a remote planet near the Federated Commonwealth border, Warrant Officer Faireborne’s unit was made to be a scapegoat in a false flag attack planned by Cobra. Fighting for his life and his friend’s life, he was rescued by an infiltrated Tiger Force unit led by Lady Jaye. Together, they defeated the cobra unit led by Copperhead.

A scholar on and off the field, Flint can quote Tolkien and Achebe before giving orders for a tactical advance. While he outranks many of the Joe’s “technically”, Flint knows that in the Joes, experts lead, and he is not an expert, just the best guy for the job. Whenever Duke or Stalker is not around, you can expect Flint to be the one in charge.

Flint and Lady Jaye have been an item and got married after the Battle of Tukayyid, and they have a daughter named Marissa which resides in the Pit, and is being raised by all the Joes.
