Description

Zartan’s original ‘mech as he ran his pirate / mercenary gang was a Griffin that had been rebuilt about a thousand times, but when he started working for Cobra, he was offered a brand-new customized machine made by M.A.R.S. to test new technologies, primarily a partial wing.

Weapons and Equipment

The scariest part of the Big Z is the Chameleon LPS which Destro decided to test on the machine, making the machine almost invisible when active. Zartan requested his ‘mech be armed with the most powerful PPC available, which translated into a Capacitor-enhanced Snub-Nose PPC. To cause additional mayhem, a pair of flamers were mounted on the opposite arm. The shoulder mounted missile launcher was also replaced with a prototype Mech Mortar/8.
