Zarana’s Background

Zarana, along with her brother Zartan, moved to the Rimworld periphery to run away from the Oberon Confederation, where she was scheduled to marry a particularly nasty pirate lord at the order of Redjack Ryan. As ruthless as her brothers, but with a better ability at conning people into thinking she is something other than a murderous psychopath, Zarana is the second in command of the Dreadnoks and whatever she says normally goes, unless Zartan has a say about it. Most of the other members of their “familly” generally prefer to go to her than to Zartan when they have problems, as she is somewhat more sociable.

After joining forces with Cobra, Zarana has grown to dislike many of the more macho men in the organization but has grown a bit closer to Katherine Steiner-Davion, in hope of potentially getting something good in return of helping the exiled princess. Zarana has a good strategic mind, along with very good logistical skill, and ends up organizing the troops when a ‘mech drop is required. Her sweet-talking skills also allow the Dreadnoks to purchase a lot of their favorite high speed vehicles. She is strangely attracted to Road Pig as well, which most of the other Dreadnoks find repugnant.
