Spartan’s Background

John Colt is never far from Jacob Marlowe during official situations, press conferences and ribbon cutting ceremonies, but his role as bodyguard is second to his roles as Chief Security Officer for Halo Corporation. Spending a lot of his time managing basic security needs for the company, Colt also participates in a large number of operations with the WildC.A.T.S. teams, especially when the security of Jacob Marlowe or to make sure Halo’s holdings are not damaged in any ways. Soft spoken but authoritative, John Colt would be a fantastic officer in any military outfit, leading by example and with dedication. He is also quite devoted to multiple humanitarian causes as well, which endears him to many.

Unbeknowst to most, however, John Colt is actually a cyborg warrior, actually far more machine than man. The design for the “Spartan-project” comes from Marlowe and the Void, which used the bio-android body to house a lifeform spirit which they knew from “before”, who quickly adapted to their new life in the Inner Sphere. While the idea to be able to mass-produce Spartan came up, none of them would match John Colt’s capabilities because only this one would have an actual soul. Spartan’s natural super-abilities are terrifying to any regular humans seeing them, ranging from limited flight, energy transmission, technopathy and a genius level intellect. His almost blind loyalty to Jacob Marlowe is probably a good thing, as Marlowe does seem to have the best interests of mankind at heart.
