Jacob Marlowe’s Background

Jacob Marlowe’s past is a blur and nobody is able to pinpoint much about him. All that is known is that he was a destitute with amnesia iving on the streets of Canopus until a little more than 9 years ago, when he suddenly got some of his memory back and contacted ComStar to recover a significant amount of money from a variety of accounts throughout the Inner Sphere, convert them into usable C-bills, beginning a massive corporate takeover of a variety of minor interstellar corporations dealing in biotech, pharmaceuticals and electronics. Relocating to New Earth, to avoid the Magistrix’s rather blatant anti-male bias, Marlowe kept expanding until “Halo Corporation” became a thing.

Halo Corporation became, in a few short years, a major player in a variety of non-military products, now spreading throughout the entire Inner Sphere due to Marlowe’s absolute lack of a “territorial identity”, paying massive bribes to any and all government officials to make sure his products could cross the borders, but when the Joes investigated Halo, they found that, against all odds, their products were all quite beneficial and that while Halo made a healthy profit off of them, they were not laundering money or anything unusual. Jacob Marlowe did send his “WildC.A.T.S.” to face the Joes, who learned of their existence and of Halo’s military industries which they are now building up on New Earth with the help of the Wolf’s Dragoon and Defiance Industries, all to face “enemies of mankind”.

Marlowe has been assisting Joes most of the time, but his lawyers (and special security force) will defend Marlowe and the company at all times.

Equipment

• Marlowe generally is ferried around in an armored limousine and is escorted by bodyguards.
• Even though he is of small stature, getting into a fight with Marlowe is very dangerous as he is much stronger than he looks.
