Grifter’s Background

Cole Cash is a troublemaker. Always has been. During his time serving in the AFFS, he had more disciplinary measures taken against him than decorations, but those decorations were just too damn good for anyone to really dishonorably discharge him. Cole Cash infiltrated St.Ives before the 4th Succession War and stole a dropship full of battlemechs which were to be provided for House Imarra, including a group of very suspicious, brand-new PLG-1n PIllager with serial numbers which did not match, During the 4th Succession War, he prevented the assassination Jackson Davion. He led commando raids against Kurita targets in the War of 39, until he left the service of the AFFS to join the security services of Halo Corporation. There, his legend kept growing both as a mercenary, as a corporate spy and as a general nuisance for anyone trying to compete with Halo. Recently, his unit generally wears a badge saying C.A.T.S., for Covert Action Teams.

Halo Corporation is not regarded as a humanitarian organization, but they are fighting against the forces of Cobra just the same for some reason, often pulling a fast one on M.A.R.S. or Solaris Arms to steal engineers, technicians and scientists from them. And in most of these, The Grifter is at the front of the operation with his CATS. Cole’s ego also puts him at odds with the Joes in many situations, wanting to prove he is better than Duke or Flint at whatever they are doing.

The Grifter generally wears his facemask at all time when on missions for unknown reasons.
