Crimson Twin’s Background

Wolf’s Dragoons experiment gone wrong, the Crimson Twins were meant to be the first “trueborn” to be born outside of Clan space, as part of an experiment by Natasha Kerensky, using her genetic codex along with Jaime Wolf. Unfortunately, the twins never met either their genemother or genefather as they were stolen “from the iron womb” by a member of Waco Rangers. Not quite understanding what he had, the lieutenant lost the twins in a poker game gone wrong, and the twins were raised as mercenary brats by the entire unit with a resentment towards their original geneparents.

What Waco didn’t expect from the twins however was that they were just so damn good at everything, and they quickly “outgrew” the Waco Rangers and took their own ‘mechs and started competing in Solaris, where they also quickly assimilated finance, business and being as cutthroat as possible. Their skills at business, combined with underhanded actions and a few murders, led them to become the owners of Extensive Enterprises, a business conglomerate with hands and stocks in military, finance, agricultural and many other things.

This is what put them on Cobra Commander‘s radar, who approached them with an offer to help them solidify their business… which they not only accepted, but told the Commander they would be happy to take a more direct course of action if required. Since them, the twins are in charge of the Crimson Guards, the white-collar terrorist organization which finances Cobra, the lawyers which protects their war criminals and the legal shipping papers to cover quite illegal international transactions.
