Tracker Kwinn’s Background

Tracker Kwinn Ghost Bear is a former member of Clan Ghost Bear who deserted after the Battle of Tukayyid to create a new mercenary unit called Bear Klawz. The unit immediately gained a reputation for two things: honesty, and ruthlessness. Kwinn’s unit followed Zellbrigen at all times, but when doing more covert work, which became one of their staple, the warriors in Bear Klaws never lied or showed any form of dishonesty.

Kwinn and his unit crossed both GI Joe and Cobra’s path multiple times, either as an ally or as an enemy, serving only the highest bidder. His honesty and his honor usually keeps him from working for Cobra directly, mind you, but he gave his services to M.A.R.S. and even the Dreadnoks at times.

The nickname “Tracker Kwinn” comes from the fact he is incredible at following his targets and his ability at locating them anywhere on any world, even though he has a preference for the colder, more snowy worlds.

Kwinn has a freeborn son who also serves in the Bear Klawz as a Mechwarrior, and he owns a pet Ghost Bear (animal) named “Nanuk”, who often accompanies him on missions, and apparently made friends with Snake Eyes pet timber wolf. Kwinn cannot tolerate alcohol and gets drunk after a single drink, which is odd for one of the Elemental Phenotype.
