Description

The Mauler MBT is a competing model with the MOBAT for the AFFC new support medium tank. Using a Lyran built Gauss Rifle, it is meant to be a symbol of cooperation between the two parts of the Federated Commonwealth. The fact both tanks are the same weight and use similar (very expensive) power plants is making a few analysts to believe both designs might be fully adopted after a short standardization process.

Weapons and Equipment

With 11 tons of heavy ferro-fibrous armor, the Mauler MBT is heavily armored and capable of staying in the fight for extended period. With 3 tons of Gauss slugs and a sperry browning machine gun, the Mauler is a capable sniper and can defend itself against infantry if required.
