Wild Bill’s Background

William Shane Hardy’s has shaped his life around old video and trideo movies from Terra, reproducing a perfect persona of the cowboy gunslinger hero. He captured the mannerism, the parlance and the behavior and he lives the life of a 19th century cattle herder, for some reason, and so does most of his family, relatives and other countrymen. This doesn’t change the fact, however, that he is one of the darn best dropship and VTOL pilot in the Inner Sphere. When a mission requires fancy flying to get in and out of a drop zone, Wild Bill is your man. If you need support while on the ground, he is also going to show you his skill with a Colt Single-Action Army or in his customized Gunslinger battlemech. Wild Bill is also qualified in piloting most VTOL and rotocrafts available to the Joes and often serves as the transport man even when they reach planetside.

As far as personal life, William Hardy is happily married and will show you pictures of his kids and his wife when you least expect it, along with explaining you the intricacies of how to make the proper rub for beef and pork ribs. He often tries to match Roadblock and Gung-Ho with some of his relatives.
