Snake Eyes’s Background

The amount of *classified* and *confidential* data in regards to Snake Eyes is remarkable. Even amongst the Joes, most don’t know much about him except that he will have their backs no matter what. He is mute and communicates generally with sign language and military cyphers, but for him action speaks louder than words, and he is always first in, last out in every Joe mission in which he is assigned. General Hawk, Duke and Flint all trust him implicitly.

What is known is that Snake Eyes was trained by the Arashikage Ninja Clan in the Draconis Combine, but he also seems to have contacts in ComGuards, Hawk seems to say they served together in the War of 3039, but Robert Morane also talks about how they fought together during the Ronin War, while Jaime Wolf once said he was one of the few men he feared… He also has some form of relationship with Cobra’s specialist ninja Storm Shadow, which he never elaborates on.

Snake Eyes has a pet timber wolf (the animal, not the ‘mech), and apparently, a whole pack actually accepted him as “one of their own”, and at least one of the animal in said pack, the Alpha male, is a Strana Mechty wolf, leading to a larger than average hybrid descendance.
