Duke’s Biography

Conrad “Duke” Hauser started his mechwarrior career during the tail end of the Andurien Civil War as an infantry commander in the Marik Militia, but due to a weird turn of event, he captured an Andurien Thunderbolt which he instinctively knew how to pilot to save his platoon from a Cobra terrorist cell which was using the unrest in Andurien for their own benefit. When LOKI and MIIO learned of Hauser’s past with the terrorist organization, they worked on recruiting him for project GI Joe, being the first true multinational member of the team.

Duke refuses all entreaties to become an actual officer, quite content with his position as Master Sergeant, but nobody should discount him as “just an enlisted man”, as he is General Hawk‘s right-hand man and the de facto commander of the Joes on field operations. Duke doesn’t take much off time, and he loves to spend whatever time he gets off trying to improve on his physique and his mental acuity. He has recently started studying astro-navigation to assist with the jumpship captain, while also doing far more zero-gee sports and training as well. With the assistance of some members of Clan Mongoose, he has begun learning the intricate rules of Clan Lacrosse, a much rougher sport than Conrad is used to from his time training with the Marik Militia.

Duke is currently single, and not looking for a partner, even though most of the other Joes are always trying to hook him up with friends and family.
