Marian Arms Incorporated is the primary military industrial corporation in the Marian Hegemony. While their original factories could build hovertanks and not much else, prior to the Jihad, they had a cozy relationship with the Word of Blake, leading to rapid modernization of their facilities. While this relationship soured with the ascendance of Cassius O’Reilly to Caesar, expatriate scientist Dafyyd Rou kept working on improving their equipment.

By the time of the Battle of Terra, the facilities on Alphard and Horatius were producing multiple different types of BattleMechs and two standard Battle Armors. While they are not “as advanced” as what is available in the rest of the Inner Sphere, they have reached the same level as Clan Invasion technology. This is mostly thanks to the New Dallas Memory Core and a late copy of the Helm’s Memory Core.

Production

Marian Arms construction methods and equipment are often taken from industrial espionage and theft. Most of their more modern processes come from the Word of Blake, along with the development brought by exiled scientist Dafyyd Rou. Most equipment is already ear-marked for local use by Caesar’s Legion, but a small number of designs are also sold to local mercenaries and affiliated pirates.

Corporate Security

Marian Arms Incorporated has built their own corporate security force in parallel to the Marian Hegemony Armed Forces. By 3152, Marian Arms “Conditor Legion” is composed of the equivalent of full Legion, mostly composed of ‘Mechs and vehicles built locally. Each of their factory is also always defended by a Cohort of Battle Armor troops in Marauders and Ravagers.

Conditor Legion and the battle armor cohorts are painted in a mix of silver, gold and red, proudly marked with the Marian Arms Incorporated logo.
