Olivander Amaris is the youngest brother of the current branch of the ruling Amaris family. From his youth, Olivander was trained as a politician and MechWarrior to serve as replacement Prime Minister. Having been given only a minimal “leg up” due to his family ties, Olivander Amaris trained under a few different Clan sibko systems to have a better understanding of how the different elements of the Union military worked. Diplomacy and economic policy were the two other major points Olivander was trained.

Taking over the PMO

Olivander Amaris took over the Fire Mandrill PMO in 3142, inheriting from his aunt Stacey. With the difficulties coming from the constant food shortages, Olivander first order of business was to make sure the Mandrills would not go back to infighting. He struck a quick deal with Renee Smythe and had the Ministry of Agriculture start massive underground hydroponics farm projects. While a few Kindraa leaders were angered by this investment in something “non-military”, it became evident to everyone that keeping the population well-fed would be the most important part of future endeavors. Olivander also presided over the dismantling of the Department of Weapons Modernization, which had started turning into a corrupt organization sucking out funding from other departments without results.

Olivander drove negotiations for the strikes against the Inner Sphere with the help of the Mandrill’s Khan. His own Amaris Galaxy was bid to go to the front against the Raven Alliance, to show the unity between the PMO and the traditional Kindraas.
