Fiercely loyal to Malvina Hazen, Denise Mehta was seriously affected by her Khan’s death. Unfortunately for her as well, the new Khan, Stephanie Chistu (Internal), had very little love for her as well. Unlike some of the other Mongol Doctrine warriors, Denise Mehta had been unapologetic about her various actions. She even claimed she would continue firmly in that direction after the ilClan trial. This put her Omega Galaxy at the very bottom of the resupply and rearm group by Stephanie Chistu, who secretly hoped a more sensible warrior from Omega would challenge their commander for her position.

Galatean Expedition

Refusing to stand down even with her depleted forces, Denise Mehta gathered like-minded Mongol Warriors and struck out against the Galatean League. Her main objective was to prove Stephanie Chistu wrong and even possibly forge her own territory. Alaric Ward had no forces available to prevent this move , but he condemned the attack against Galatea.

Facing the First Galatean Defense Force, the remnants of Omega Galaxy were unable to make headway on the planet, before being pushed completely out. As they were retreating to the jump point, Denise Mehta’s dropships were intercepted by the LAS Yggdrasil, which was carrying diplomats to negotiate the return of Galatea to Lyran control. She did not survive the engagement.
