Deborah Sheridan

Deborah Sheridan return to the Wolf’s Dragoons with the rest of the forces remaining from the Battle of Terra was far from glorious. Her commanding officer was executed by Henry Kincaid and she was demoted to Second Lieutenant, with no real hope of ever climbing back in the ranks. Following Kincaid’s orders to strike against the Wolf Empire, Deborah followed order as a simple pilot in a lance.

Betrayal of Ideals

Deborah Sheridan honestly was not certain she wanted to keep following Henry Kincaid in his vendetta, but her options were rather limited. After a raid on a Lyran world for supplies, Deborah learned of Marotta Kerensky’s fate, rotting away in a solitary confinement on the Chieftain. Already regretting her action rejoining the Wolf’s Dragoons, Deborah gathered a group of like-minded officers and soldiers and took over the Overlord dropship, freeing Marotta in the process. After gathering their machines and equipment, the renegades fled to the jump point, hoping a passing trader ship would let them leave. Luckily for them, a group of Travelers were present at the jump point, who took as a payment from the fleeing Dragoons a single Battlemech.

Meeting with Othar Shaw and Anastasia Kerensky, Deborah Sheridan revealed the location of the Dragoons hidden base on Ilion. As the Wolf and Falcon Strike force reached the planet, Sheridan was instrumental in having a few more Dragoon defect, including Haya Tetsuhara. While saddened by the destruction of her original regiment, Deborah Sheridan realized that there was no other way for this situation to end.

Joining the Thunder Boar

Deborah Sheridan did manage to win back a position as a Star Captain after a Trial of Position, but the woman did not feel at ease serving with the Wolves still. Luckily for her, Max Ergen was recruiting heavily for the First Army Group job on Yorii. Her commanding officer allowed her to “break rank” and join what would later become Clan Thunder Boar. Sheridan’s work on Yorii was nothing short of exceptional, using what she learned in the last few years to not only act as an exemplary officer, but also as a skilled commander.

In recognition for her work on Yorii, Deborah Sheridan was given the authorization to add her Bloodname to the Thunder Boar. She decided to change it to Debacle, her nickname, so as to not have issues with the Sheridan bloodname in Clan Cloud Cobra. After the battle, she also approached Marotta Kerensky to ask him to marry her, in a traditional Inner Sphere way, which the Clan warrior did not know how to respond.

Capellan – Star League War

Deborah Debacle worked on forming the touman of Clan Thunder Boar during the Capellan – Star League war. She did not participate in any major offensive or action, outside of defensive counter-raids.
