aya Tetsuhara is a young, yet incredibly successful, mechwarrior and officer, originally with the Wolf’s Dragoons. As the commander of Charlie Company of Tarantulas Battalion, supported Henry Kincaid (internal) at the start of his personal war with the Wolf Empire. Haya Tetsuhara posed as Kincaid’s aide in a meeting with Captain-General Nikol Marik (internal), where the FLWM refused to hire the Wolf’s Dragoons.

Battle against the Jacinda

Haya Tetsuhara led the strike against Campbelton, where she faced against Star Captain Jacinda (internal). Tetsuhara was able to capture a quantity of supplies on the planet, but they were recalled to the remainder of the Tarantulas to reinforce another assault on Empire planets. Jacinda would be tracking Tetsuhara for most of the war, with the two commanders facing multiple times. The two would have a grudging respect for each other until they met “on foot” later in their lives, where they became fast friends.

Loss of faith

While Haya Tetsuhara supported Henry Kincaid, she saw the man fall more and more into a vengeful madness against the Wolves, endangering the Wolf’s Dragoons. While Tetsuhara still supported her Colonel, she saw more and more actions which were akin to piracy and terrorism. She then began considering that it could be an issue. As the Wolves cornered the mercenary, Haya Tetsuhara had lost any confidence in her commander, enough for her to join the “defectors” who left to join Clan Wolf.

Rebuilding her reputation

All the new “recruits” from the Wolf’s Dragoons were forced to take Trial of Position to join Clan Wolf under Othar Shaw’s (internal) orders. Haya Tetsuhara succeeded in scoring 2 victories to secure a position as Star Commander. The Dragoons were still broken up and divided to various other units so they would not be able to reorganize immediately. Haya Tetsuhara was moved to Miriam Shaw’s (internal) Omega Galaxy where she started serving as a garrison officer.

As the Capellan – Star League War began, Haya Tetsuhara began fighting on the front lines against Daoshen Liao’s (internal) personal guard. Tetsuhara failed to rescue Miriam Shaw as her Timber Wolf omnimech was destroyed by the Capellan Chancellor. Haya requested from Anastasia Kerensky (internal) to commit seppuku for the dishonor of her action, but the Steel Wolf refused and ordered Tetsuhara to focus on the task at hand instead.

Haya Tetsuhara gained the rank of Star Captain in her next deployment, where she executed an efficient defense of a HPG that was being repaired by CGI-Lavalin, coordinating her Star action with the corporate security defense reinforced lance. She continued to serve effectively in the Omega Galaxy under Anastasia Kerensky, with multiple successful missions against Capellan forces until she was part of the strike which would finally kill Danai Liao as an escort to the Steel Widow.
