Petr Kalasa was Clan Sea Fox’s saKhan during the Battle of Terra, and right after the battle concluded, moved to meet with the Spirit Cats in order to ensure their allegiance to Clan Wolf and the new Star League. Establishing strong ties with Maersk, Petr Kalasa also started a serious logistics chain between various Sea Fox manufacturing centers, the rim-ward periphery and Gienah.

War for the Wolf Empire

Petr Kalasa was instrumental in defense from the tripartite attacks on the Wolf Empire, but not due to his military acumen or warship, but simply for his ability to strike deals between all the suppliers which were required by Clan Wolf, the reborn Nova Cats and Jade Falcons defending the Empire. Kalasa relied heavily on Andrew Yung’s “periphery merchants” to provide him with BattleMechs and armor, which was then repurposed for local powers. Yung Weaponry and Taurian attack VTOLs went from being a rare sight in the Inner Sphere to being omnipresent in all battles for the Wolf Empire. Defending the supply lines became Kalasa’s sole focus, and “pirate hunting” led him to devote a significant portion of his resources into aerospace assets and even commissioning a new set of pocket warship / heavy transport with the Ra Cailum-class dropship.

War in the Reaches

With the Rim ward periphery now being a massive source of supplies for the Sea Fox. When the Aurigan and Froncian reaches began their trade war, Petr Kalasa was feared the worst could happen and recommended Khan Mori Hawker (internal) take immediate action. Hawker was reserved on this, leaving the situation in ovKhan Andrew Yung’s hands. When a Sea Fox ship was impounded by Froncian forces and a cable from a courier from Lloyd’s of New London reached Petr Kalasa, he reiterated his demand to his Khan, potentially even getting ready to challenge his leadership. Hawker turned around and left Petr Kalasa in charge of the supplying of the new Star League and mobilized his warships and Galaxies to assist the Aurigans.

With one of his important sources of trade goods down, Petr Kalasa established additional trade routes between Davion and Kurita space to Terra, with the help with megacorporations who were happy to assist. One of the important thing which was setup were recharge stations around various suns to ease with recharge speed along the “highways”, with the first one being established near Dieron, a joint effort between CGIL, Renault-Peugeot Automotive and Clan Sea Fox.

Capellan – Star League War

With the end of the War in the Reaches and the return of Mori Hawker, Petr Kalasa was planning a takeover of his Khan position, but this was cut short with the start of the Capellan assault on the new Star League. Hawker pledged his own forces to the defense of the Star League, while Kalasa was left once again playing logistical tycoon, a thing he was now becoming very efficient at. The reopening of the markets in the Rimward Alliance, combined with the flow of goods from the two spinward major houses, bolstered the new Star League significantly.

With Mori Hawker being almost mortally injured on New Earth, Petr Kalasa claimed the title of Khan of the Sea Fox, with all the other ovKhan agreeing unanimously, as Hawker moved to his new role as Minister of Trade. Kalasa fully expected Andrew Yung, of the Lone Aimag, to move in for the title of saKhan, but nothing came from the periphery outside more weapons and food. None of the other ovKhan seemed to be interested in the position, until Andreas Sutherland of the Tiburon Khanate was nominated, against his will.

Petr Kalasa now seems to understand that the increased independence of the different portions of the Sea Fox is risky, especially as each Khanate are both growing in power and wealth. A recentralization of the powers being seen as essential, in-fighting between the Sea Fox factions might become commonplace.
