Miriam Shaw was somewhat displeased with how she was treated in the aftermath of the the ilClan trial, with Chance Vickers getting the title of saKhan while she was the one who brought the Wolves In Exile back into the fold. Alaric Ward did allow her to have massive freedom compared to other Galaxy Commanders and did allow the Omega “Provisional” Galaxy to be rearmed and reequipped quickly. As Stephanie Chistu went to retake the Falcon territories in the Tamar Hinterlands, Miriam Shaw petitioned for Arc-Royal to be returned to their rightful owner, and Alaric Ward agreed, as long as Callandre Kell swore she would not oppose the New Star League.

Miriam Shaw led a Cluster of the Omega Galaxy to go and support Calamity Kell in her fight against renegade Falcon elements on Arc-Royal, allowing the two to sign the agreement in which the ilClan would recognize the independence of the Kell Hounds homeworld.

War for the Wolf Empire

Omega Provisional Galaxy, even though they were more independent than other units within Clan Wolf, were ordered to go support the Wolf Empire in their defense against Wolf’s Dragoons, House Steiner and House Marik’s forces. Given more authority than most other unit commanders, Miriam Shaw performed several raids on FWL and LC supply depots and staging areas. Galaxy Commander Shaw was one of the leaders which supported the Blooding of Othar Wolf as a reward for his skills at defending the Wolf Empire during its time of need.

Capellan-Star League War

With the fall of the Fortress Wall, Galaxy Commander Shaw began supporting Clan Smoke Jaguar in their early efforts to monitor and fight back the Capellan expeditionary forces. As the conflict heated up, the former Wolves-In-Exile were tasked with leading the fight on Sirius, where the bulk of the Capellan army was brought to bear. Miriam Shaw is killed in the early stages of the fight by Daoshen Liao himself, but not before forcing the CCAF back for at least a week.

Alaric Ward ordered a state funeral for Miriam Shaw, and she was buried with full honors near the Founder’s Tomb, on Terra. Her role as Galaxy Commander of the Omega Galaxy passed to Anastasia Kerensky
