Red Dog’s Background

David “Red Dog” Coyote (from the Topol bloodline) was not the top of his sibko. He wasn’t even near the top. What he was good at, however, was the traditional sport of American Football. His original idea was actually to not even test in his Trial of Position and just declass down to the tech caste, where he could still play while not having the pressure of “being one of the best”. Unfortunately for him, his Pack Master did not even give him a choice, shredding his request in front of him and telling him to die at the hands of someone who would actually become a warrior. During his first Trial, he killed the top ranker of his sibko with an ER PPC shot to the head.

This should have been the end of it if not for Serpentor and Cloud Cobra. In a ploy to get more of the Clans involved in fighting in the Inner Sphere, Red Dog’s Cluster was part of a scheme to attack Twycross. Most of the Cluster didn’t even deploy after they were warned by Clan Mongoose, but Red Dog’s binary was embroiled in a fight against the Joes, and more importantly, Sgt. Slaughter, who captured him as a Bondsman. Showing discipline and resilience at the Slaughterhouse, Red Dog integrated the Renegades where he serves as Clan cultural expert and football coach.
