The Prof on the Shogun
Some ‘mechs have gone extinct in the Inner Sphere over the years, some of them because of the devastation of the Succession Wars, some of them due to abuse by their user and some of them because there literally was no buyers. The Shogun is a mix of all three of those things. Mitchell Vehicles lost their factory on Graham IV during the First Succession War, the Shogun had mostly been taken by the Exodus and when the Wolf’s Dragoon brought it back, it was in the Zeta Batallion, always at the front of all assaults. There was also never a desire to bring the design back until Clan Sea Fox took the reins.
