Conquest WAdrhun Martriarch Queen Mini is from the Conquest line by Para Bellum games.
I love the BOX you get this mini in, it’s not just a carded blister like you used to get for many games, and it’s not just a simple box, this one has a nice feel to it and slides in an out. One you get in the box, you have a big slot base for rank and file battles, a card with a QR code for the model (which is pretty cool as well) and the actual model, which is made out of resin.
See, I am not a huge fan of resin normally. Finecast was so bad it soured many on it as well. This one, however, is pretty okay. Not perfect, not great, just okay enough that I will tolerate it. Plastic injection molds being as expensive as they are, I understand why some companies still do resin. No weird bubbles, it doesn’t look too fragile, I hope it isn’t too brittle either. We’re at a point that 3D printed models will likely be better quality than resin models, so maybe some companies should start retooling.
What is unfortunate though is NO ASSEMBLY INFORMATION. I was told by @the-sixth-world it should be on their website, but for this particular model, I can’t find it anywhere! I am not terribly worried mind you, just need to be careful when I work on it and put it together.
