V.A.M.P. Description

The Vehicle: Attack/Multi-Purpose is a simple wheeled support vehicle used by the Joes, along with many of the Federated Commonwealth special forces. Extensively simple, it is not meant for combat outside of light infantry support, but it is fast, fully capable of off-road service and can pull various tools and equipment using its tractor hitch. Combining this with the extremely low cost of the design, the V.A.M.P. has been a common sight since its introduction in 3000, with more than 5 million units produced for the military. It has been sold to allied states like the St. Ives Compact, and has been built under license by the Rasalhague Republic before they lost the factory to the Clan Invasion. Clan Ghost Bear took over the production of the V.A.M.P. for the Clans, selling it in limited amounts to Clan Wolf and to various Homeworld Clans, with no major modification outside potentially using battlearmor plating.

Variants

Unarmed variants have been sold to soldier returning to civilian life, and an unarmored version has been sold to particulars throughout the Federated Commonwealth since its introduction in 3000.
